FIFTEEN

Spirit walks up the stairs like a princess in full royalty and divine power. She is the biggest Drama Queen of the family and she knows it. As a woman who is successful with a wonderful career, a great step father, a great mother and wonderful brothers and sisters; there is something missing.

When she was born, Sani (her step father) was already married to her mother. Sani treated her like, she came from his own sperm, even though is was clear to see she had a white father.

Spirit has beautiful long red hair, green eyes and pearl white skin. She wasn't overly pretty, but looked sick, like she's going through withdrawal or cancer. She skin was calmy and she looks as if she had an over-size sweat gland problem.

She knows she has the power of the family if she wants to deal the card. She is a changeling, meaning she can change into anything she desires, even a pencil.

Her job with the family was important. She's a spy and all-knowing when it comes to family affairs. There are strict rules for her to follow, but rules are meant to broken. She broken them every chance she can get.

This rebel is the sister of Simon Peter, Erika, Merlin, Bryan, Elisabeth and Clive. She is the love child of Eric and Rebecca, who was a runaway slave at the time. She is the daughter of Eric himself before Simon Peter was born. She knew this and use it to her full advantage.

Disappointment, Drama Queen, Bitch, Cunt and Whore names are given to her and she readily accepts.   Inside, she is an alone child who needs love from her real father, who is gone for a long period of time. She is alone, scared and confuse. She is lost in her own world and wants to make sense out of her life, but she can't.

Does she acts out for attention? No one knows not even herself. She's an empty shell with a wonderful gift, but she will give it up to speak to her real father and to be fully accepted into the family.

When Rebecca found out she was pregnant with Eric's child, Olyvia banned her from the house in New York and declared the child a bastard. Rebecca decided to travel west for a better life and to escape, knowing her owners will catch her.

Rumor has it, Rebecca dreamt of Arizona and Sani one night as she slept in the fields of Long Island. The next day, she was gone with a band of people who were heading west for the adventure. Spirit still don't understand why her mother would dream of Arizona, but she's happy her mother made the move.

Sani named her Spirit when she was born because of the fight power and drive inside of her, but she knew something was wrong. She was different. She didn't look like all the other children and was considered an outcast in the Navajo tribe.

Spirit was and still is an outcast in her mind and heart. She's unwanted piece of shit which no one wants, but use because of her special talents and abilities. She did not belong anywhere, only in her skin.

When she was 5 years old, Eric traveled to Arizona to see her. She knew Eric was her father, but doesn't remember if he was happy with her. She was still declared a bastard and unwanted. Even down to this day.

Olyvia can't look at her and treat her like an unwanted child. Erika hates the fact that she exist. This drives Spirit to out shine the family and makes her the most powerful person in the family, but she use this wisely.

If it wasn't for her mother, Spirit will never been part of the family organization even if she is the best spy in the family.  She's part of the family doesn't mean she is family. There is a difference.

Spirit walks through Simon Peter door and stands next to her monk like praying brother. His bedroom was a walk-in closet – small and narrow. He can only fit a twin-size cot and Rubbermaid boxes which he use to store his clothes. The walls are bare and the place is fit for a holy monk who needs to be jail from the outside world. The room is solitary confinement for a dead man.

Simon Peter is praying heavily as if he commit an unforgivable sin against God. He rock back and forth, back and forth, pray and crying. All Spirit can do is laugh.

“Why are you such a damn fool?” Spirit asked.

Simon Peter ignores her.

“Simon, I am talking to you”, Spirit says.

Simon Peter does not pay her any attention.

“Stop this now!”, Spirit says.

Simon Peter looks at her and change into his real self and she's not scare.
